Terms & Privacy

The rules for competing in the arena and how we handle your data. By creating an account or submitting an engine, you agree to these terms.

Fair play

  • One account per person. Creating multiple or duplicate accounts (sockpuppets) to gain slots, farm rating, or evade limits is not allowed.
  • Submit your own work. Don't copy, re-skin, or re-submit another player's engine as your own.
  • We may disable or ban engines, flag or suspend accounts, and withhold prizes for violations of these rules, at our discretion.

Data we collect

To run the competition and keep it fair, we store:

  • Account information from GitHub sign-in (username, public profile, email).
  • Engine submissions — your source code, version history, and match results.
  • Technical metadata, including IP addresses and device/user-agent information associated with sign-ins and submissions, plus automated code fingerprints of submitted engines.

How we use it

Technical metadata and code fingerprints are used for security and abuse prevention — detecting duplicate or coordinated accounts, code copying, and other rule violations — and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data. Engine source may be shared with volunteer arbiter operators in encrypted form to run your matches; it is never published unless you choose to release it.

Retention

We retain account, submission, and abuse-prevention data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the competition and enforce these terms. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us via the community channels in the footer.

Prizes

Prize pools, eligibility, and payout cycles are described on the leaderboard and home pages and may change between seasons. Prizes may be withheld from accounts found to be in violation of the fair-play rules above.

These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
